Annual ground herb 1 m tall; stems many, basal diameter 0.5 cm; epidermis thin, smooth, light green-red brown; pedicel and calyx light green; epicalyx green; corolla tube maroon outside; inside dark maroon; corolla lobes yellow; anthers yellow; stamen tube pale light yellow; stigmas dark maroon; styles maroon; capsules light green, turning dark brown when ripe; leaf blades dark green above, light green below. |
