Terrestrial fern with short creeping rhizome. Rhizome 3-4.5 cm wide, 2-2.5 cm tall, fronds close together. Stipe and rachis dark brown and shiny above and beneath. Fronds not dimorphic, to brown and shiny above and beneath. Fronds not dimorphic, to 163 cm long, with 2-4 pairs of lateral pinnae, basal pinnae to 52 cm long. Pinnae dark green and slightly shiny above, paler and not shiny beneath, slightly bullate above. Sori indusiate but most indusia missing. |
