Tree, c.20 m dbh. 42 cm. Bole: fluted trunk. Bark: pale brown, <1mm thick; middle bark green; inner bark in 3 layers-outer pale pinkish-orange and grainy, middle dark red fading to dull semi-translucent dark orange near the pale yellow wood. Leaf: dull mid-green above, pale green below; young leaves bright green. Flower: pedicel bright green; buds pale greenish-yellow; stamens white. NOTE: very few flowers observed on tree. |
