Epiphytic tree, approx. 10 m high. Leaf: leathery, dull darkish green with pale green mid vein above, dull yellowish-green below. Flower: calyx pale green; corolla tube greenish-yellow outside, greenish-white inside with 4 green stripes leading down from junction between lobes; corolla lobes, filaments and style white; anthers pale greyish-brown; stigma pale greenish. NOTE: growing at a height of 25 m above ground level. Flowers opening rapidly just after sunset, fully open within an hour. |
