Terrestrial fern on earthy banking. Rhizome short creeping, fronds close together. Rhizome black but growing points pale green, covered with white hairs. Stipes reddish-brown, turning black towards base; rachis variable green to brown above and beneath. Fronds to 157 cm long, pinnae to 52 cm long, basal pinnae reflexed. Pinnae mid green and slightly shiny above, paler and not shiny beneath. |
