Epiphytic, monopodial orchid. Roots white, green tips. Stem covering with greenery sheath, sometime a little spotted with purple. Leaves green with purplish spots on the midrib and leaf margin. Four inflorescences, light green with dark purplish spots, 2 bracts, light green with purplish spots, and 9-10 floral bracts, light green. Flowers soft fragrant, opening only 1 flower on one inflorescence at a time, lasting 1-2 days, non-resupinate, about 2 cm wide, and 3 cm long. Sepals and petals yellow-greenish yellow, tinged with a little reddish purple at the base. Lip white with reddish purple spots spreading throughout outside and inside of the lip, excepting the midlobe, saccate white with reddish purple spots, densely covering with hairs inside at the base of the saccate, callus and sidelobes white with reddish purple spots, the lip mostly covering with hairs. Column and column-foot yellowish white, densely spotted with reddish purple. Operculum white. Pedicel and ovary green. 00-2493A OR-2011-134/1. |
