Epiphytic, monopodial orchid. Roots white, green tips. Stem covering with greenery sheath. Leaves green. Inflorescences, bracts and floral bracts dark green with dark purple spots. Flowers opening only 1-2 flowers on one inflorescence at a time, lasting 1-2 days, non-resupinate, about 2.5 cm wide, about 5.5 cm long. Sepals and petals orangish yellow, tinged with dark brown at the base. Lip white with dark brown spots on outer and inner surfaces of the lip except the sidelobes. Callus dark brown with short hairs. Saccate yellowish white, tinged with dark brown spots and covering with short hairs. Column yellowish green. Column-foot yellowish green tinged with horizontally dark brown strips. Operculum white. Pollinia yellow. Pedicel and ovary green with dark brown spots. |
