Habitat: shady under story in 33 year old planted pine forest (Pinus kesiya), granite bedrock. Deciduous robust herbs, up to 120 cm tall. Stem dark brown, densely light brown pubscent. Pedicels pale green with pale brown hairs, bracts light green with white to light brown hairs, calyx whitish green with white hairs. Corolla tube light yellow, corolla lobes yellow, style greenish white, stigma 2 pronged, pale green, filaments (4) white to orange-white, anthers light brown to brown. Leaf blades green above, whitish green with dense star shaped white hairs below. Very common. |
