Habitat: shady and moist watershed area at seasonal stream sidee in degraded deciduous hardwood forest with bamboo and tall forest bananas, granite bedrock. Perennial evergreen (epilithic) herb, up to 35 cm tall. Roots cream-white. Stem blackish green, dark green on nodes. Inflorescence axes dark green, calyx light green and light pink. Corolla light purple and white with bright yellow blotch at throat, pistil and stamen white with fluffy white hairs. Leaf blades dark green above, green below, with sticky, glandular white hairs. Uncommon. |
