evergreen tree, up to 9 m tall, DBH 33 cm. Bark grey, smooth, inner bark white with bright light green outer layer, wood yellow. Inflorescence axes dull white-green with orange-brown stellate hairs and scales, pedicel and calyx white-green with dense white indumentum. Petals dull yellow to dull yellow-green, filaments yellow-green, anthers light yellow-brown to brown. Flowers fragrant. Leaf blades glossy dark green above, white with orange to orange-brown indumentum below. Common. |
