Culitvated, clustered, shrubby, understory palm ca 3 m tall. Leave bipinnate, sheaths ca 30 cm long, 10 cm wide, petiole ca 160 long rachis ca 175 cm long, pinnae ca 22 pair, alternate, ca 40-95 cm long, pinnules ca 9 on eachside of pinnae rachis, 7 -9 x 10-15 cm, triangular, apical margin jaggedly toothed with a long acuminate tip, end pair united, larger, rhomboid. |
