Deciduous bamboo; culms densely clustered, 15-25 packed together, 4-6 m tall, basal diameter 1-3 cm, green; clumps 50-1 m diameter at the base; flowering culms leafless; inflorescence axes dull green; glumes light green; anthers cream, filaments white; only a few culms with leaves; blades green above, light green underneath; dominant vegetation. |
