Shale bedrock deciduous, perennial, ground herb; tubers deep in soil, vertical, light brown outside, white inside, 7-17 cm long, top 22-55 cm wide; scape light green, sometimes mottled with green, rarely greyish, 36-80 cm long; spathe green on the sides, rarely grey; spadix: sterile appendage very pale light yellow, connectives light yellow stigmas light orange, ovaries light green; leafless; uncommon. |
