Semi-open marshy places. Leaves crowded into a basal rosette, obtuse, margin papillate. Inflorescence: capitula hemispherical, blackish-grey. Receptacle glabrous. Involucral bracts broadly, black, hairy in the upper part, apex. acuminate. Male flowers: calyx blackish, hairy in the upper part; anthers black. Female flowers: sepals black, hairy in the upper part; petals 3, linear, hairy in the upper part, glandular; ovary 3-locular. |
