Deciduous tree, 8 m tall, dbh 17-20 cm, coppicing at ground level, bark thin mottled and dimpled, grey on light brown even tually peeling off, stems brown, branches brown. Inflorescences axes, light brown, calyx outside light brown, inside pale light green turning tan, petals violet fading light pink, stigma grey, larger stamens; anthers black, filaments and style light violet, smaller stamens; anthers yellow, filaments very pale light yellow; leaf blades dark green above, light green underneath. |
