Tree, 18 m high. dbh. 34+19+39+35+31 cm. Bole: slightly buttressed at base, multi-stemmed from < 1 m high. Bark: orange to mid grey/brown, slightly flaking in plates; middle bark green; inner bark pinkish to red-brown, juicy. Leaf: dark green above, paler brownish-cream below with dark brown hairs on main veins. Flower: buds densely covered with brown tomentum; calyx bright yellow along margins, otherwise covered with brown tomentum; corolla white; stamens and style cream. |
