Tree, 21 m high. dbh. 47 cm. Crown: monopodial. Bark: mid grey/brown, flaking and moderately cracked; middle bark indistinct; inner bark pink, no latex or sap. Leaf: bright green above, pale green below; petiole and young shoots densely covered with pale orange hairs. Flower: peduncle, pedicel and outside of calyx pale pink with darker pink hairs; inside of calyx dark red with cream-coloured lobes; staminal column white, staminal head yellow-orange. |
