Open, fire-damaged, degraded, deciduous, seasonal, hardwood+mush bamboo forest together, 1C -14 m tall, basal diameter 3-7 cm; epidermis green, initially whitish farinose, glabrescent; leafless, densely flowered from all nodes; panicles 1.5 -3 m long; only a few culms, blades green above, light green below; culm sheaths pale orangish brownish; synchrynous, mass flowering, all mature individuals flowering; said to have been at least 10 years since the last flowering. |
