Open, fire-damaged, very degraded and deciduous dipterocarp, seasonal, hardwood scrub forest; sandstone bedrock evergreen treelet or 1,5-2 m tall, basal diameter 25 mm; bark thin, roughly vertically rudged, light brown; bamboo in grey; pedicels very pale light green-whitish, calyx very pale light green-whitish; petals outside and margins inside white, petals other deep blue; anthers looking like brown, connective & filaments light blue; style light purple; fruits dull green, ripening black with very dark filament light blue; style light purple; fruit dull green, ripening black with very dark purple juice leaf blades dark green above, green underneath; common.
