Herb 2.5 to 3.5 m tall, basal 1/2 leafless, 21 leaves/pseudostem, shoots 60 cm apart. Bracts brownish papery. Bracteole, calyx, floral tube, corolla lobes reddish. Labellum white with central band with red dots at base, yellow at apex. Lateral staminoides red at base, cream at apex. Filament red at base, pink at apex. Style pink, stigma white. |
