Clump-forming, deciduous herb, 70-90 cm tall on coarse granite soil. Sheaths and lower leaf surface dark purple. Inflorescence pendent at right angel to stem, fertile cincinni numerous, held at 45 degree celcisu to rachis. Bracts green, soon being pushed to reflexed position. Flowers orange-yellow with red-brown spot on lip. |
