Terrestrial fern with short creeping rhizome. Stipe black at base, otherwise stipes and rachis brown beneath and green above or all brown; with thin green stipe entire length. Fronds tripartite, 256 cm long, lamina 77 x 115 cm; basal pinnae with large basiscopic pinnule almost same size as rest of pinnae; second basal pinnae smaller than those above. Lamina yellowish green above and beneath. Mature sori black. |
