Terrestrial fern with short erect rhizome. On earthy bank above river. Rhizome c. 4 cm diameter. Stipes mid to dark green,covered with brown scales. Fronds stiff, to 95 cm long, middle pinnae longest to 19 cm. Pinnae mid green and shiny above, paler and not shiny beneath, lower pinnae reflexed, lamina raised above position of sori beneath. Sori indusiate but these missing in older fronds. |
