Terrestrial fern on anther banking. Rhizome long creeping, mid green at growing tip, dark brown when older, fronds closely spaced; roots thick, rubbery. Stipes very dark green to black above and beneath; rachis dark brown to black beneath, same as lamina above. Fronds to 77 cm long, lamina 55 x 21 cm, first pinnae pair strongly reflexed, 2nd pair slightly so. Lamina subcoriaceous, mid to dark green above, slightly paler beneath. Immature sori green, older sori brown. |
