Perennial herb, 30-50 cm high. Leaves green with scatter pink dot. Flowers violet; bracteoles pubescent outside. Sepals small, usually obscured by bracteoles, membranous, white, pubescent. Petals resupinate 180°; while at tube subcyclindric and violet at throat, outside pubescent; limb 2-lipped; upper lip ascending roll, violet, outside pubescent; lower lip violet, outside pubescent. Filament violet, hairy below the middle; anther yellow. Style white; stigma brown. |
