Herb 2-3 m tall. Blades thinly coriaceous, glabrous except for hairs on edges toward apex. Bracts papery, buff colored, persistent. Corolla tubular, white, pubescent. Labellum white with purple lines at the medium. Fruits a capsule, globose, pale brown, thin walled, covered with persistent bracts. |
