Terrestrial herb in thin soil over rocks. Rhizome short creeping. Croziers pink. Stipe and rachis pale greenish brown, terets, scales dark brown. Stipe and rachis pale greenish brown, terets, scales dark brown. Slightly dimorphic with fertile fronds taller and slightly narrower. Fertile fronds to 82 x 14 cm, stipe 44 cm long. Sterile fronds to 67 x 22 cm, stipe 32 cm long. Basal pinnae reflexed in both sterile and fertile fronds. Lamina mid green above, hardly paler beneath. Sori purple when very young, turning green. |
