There are 4 main garden trails, and a Greenhouse Complex for visitors to enjoy various kinds of plants, both native and exotic species.

Arboretum Trail: Along the trail, visitors will see plants (mostly trees) grouped according to their botanical families. More than 10 families of plants are featured, such as banana (Musaceae), palm (Arecacea),
pine (Pinaceae), pea (Caesalpiniaceae), ginger (Zingiberaceae), cycad (Cycadaceae); and ferns and their allies.

Climber Trail: A collection of vines or climbers (weak-stemmed plants which scramble upward by attaching themselves to other plants or objects). A beautiful trail with more than 200 species of climbers.

The Waterfall and Ornamental Beds: Passing by the Mae Sa stream and Mae Sa Noi Waterfall, the path leads to the ornamental beds and eventually onto the Thai Orchid Collection. Plants from the families Agavaceae, Moraceae, Verbenaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Cactaceae,
and Clusiaceae are featured along the trail.

Medicinal Plants: The garden values the importance of indigenous knowledge in plants and their medicinal properties. One of the garden trails is designated specifically for the medicinal plants. In this collection, many native species with medicinal value are displayed along the trail.

Greenhouse Complex
Officially opened by HRH Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn on 26th Januray 2001, the Greenhouse Complex comprises 4 exhibition conservatories, and 8 glasshouses for plant collection.

The Tropical Rainforest House: The largest conservatory of the Greenhouse Complex, with a floor space of 1,000 sq. m, and a height of 33 m. It holds a collection of tropical species from Thailand and Southeast Asia, such as palms, bananas, and those in the ginger family.

The Arid House: Features desert-dwelling plants such as cacti and agaves from Ameica; and euphorbias and aloes from Africa, as well as the native euphorbes. Also located in the Arid House is a collection of Cycads, the most primitive group of seed plants.

The Orchids and Ferns House: Contains a variety of tropical orchids and ferns. Of the 177 genera that comprises 1,200 species,
QSBG has 80 genera of native orchids including 350 species in its living collection.

The Aquatic House: Shelters over 100 species of aquatic plants, which grow at the edge of rivers, lakes, ponds, streams, and marshes. Displays include collections of waterlilies, aquatic ferns, and water hyacinths.
