Herb 2-3 m high with milky juice. Leaves upper surface waxy-white glaucose, glabrous; petiole waxy-white glaucous. Spathe: lower spathe roll closed pistillate flowers zone, white glaucose, green, spathe limb boat-shaped, white; spadix straight or slightly curved. Flowers numerous, green, unisexual. Pistillate flower zone conical; ovary green, with sterile interstice, creamish white; stigma capitate, white. Staminate flowers zone: synandria waxy white. |
