พืชล้มลุก แผ่คลุมพื้นดิน สูง 10-30 ซม. ลำต้นและ กิ่งก้านมีขนสีน้ำตาลอ่อนปกคลุม ใบ เป็นใบประกอบแบบ มีใบย่อย 1 ใบ รูปเกือบกลม ขนาด 7.5-23 ซม. ปลายใบมน โคนใบเว้ารูปหัวใจ ผิวใบและก้านใบมีขนหนาแน่น ก้านใบยาวได้ถึง 20 ซม. หูใบรูปสามเหลี่ยม ปลายเรียวแหลม เป็นเส้น ยาว 1-2 ซม. ดอก สีม่วงอ่อนแกมชมพู ออกเป็นช่อตั้ง ยาว 6-10 ซม. ดอกย่อยจำนวนมาก รูปดอกถั่ว ขนาดประมาณ 6-8 มม. ใบประดับรูปหอก สีน้ำตาลแดง ยาว 1-1.5 ซม. กลีบรองดอกปลายแยก 5 กลีบ 3 กลีบล่าง เป็นเส้นสีน้ำตาลแดงอ่อน ยาวประมาณ 8 มม. กลีบดอก 5 กลีบ ขอบกลีบส่วนบนมีสีเข้มกว่า กลีบอื่นๆ ผล เป็นฝักแบน รูปกลมรี กว้างประมาณ 3 มม. มี 1 เมล็ด

Herb, ascendant, 10-30 cm high; stem and branchlets brownish pubescent. Leaves unifoliolate, suborbicular, 7.5-23 cm across, pubescent on both surfaces; base cordate; apex rounded; petiole densely pubescent, up to 20 cm long; stipule subulate-triangular, 1-2 cm long. Inflorescence terminal raceme, 6-10 cm long, densely with flowers. Flowers pale violet to pink-violet, pea-shaped, 6-8 mm long; bracteole landceolate, red-brown, 1-1.5 cm long; calyx 5, 3 lower lobes filiform, pale red-brown, ca 8 mm long; corolla 5, standard tip with stronger color than other parts. Pod flat, broadly ellipsoid, ca 3 mm wide. Seed 1.

พบในภูมิภาคอินโดจีน ประเทศไทยพบทางภาคตะวันออกและภาคเหนือ ที่ระดับความสูงถึง 1,500 เมตร ออกดอกและติดผลช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม-ตุลาคม

Thailand and Indochina. In Thailand, found in the northern and eastern regions up to elevations of 1,500 m. Flowering and fruiting from August to October.
