ลักษณะ :

ไม้ล้มลุกลำต้นตั้งตรง สูง 1-3 ม. ใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับ รูปไข่แคบแกมใบหอก กว้าง 3-6 ซม. ยาว 18-30 ซม. ช่อดอกเชิงซ้อน ออกที่ปลายยอด ดอกรูปปากเปิด สีขาว ยาว 2-3 ซม. ผลแห้งแตกมี 2 ห้อง ทรงกลม ขนาดเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางประมาณ 1.5 ซม. ออกดอกเดือน มิ.ย.-ก.ย.

Characteristics :

Erect herbs, 1-3 m tall. Leaves simple, alternate, narrowly ovate-lanceolate, 18-30 by 3-6 cm. Inflorescences terminal, compound. Flowers bilabiate, white, 2-3 cm long. Capsules 2-celled, globose, ca. 1.5 cm in diam. Flowering Jun.-Sep.
