ลักษณะ :

กล้วยไม้อิงอาศัย ลำต้นขนาดใหญ่ เส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 1.5-2 ซม. สูง 0.4-1 เมตร ใบ รูปแถบ กว้าง 4-5 ซม. ยาว 30-40 ซม. ดอก ออกเป็น ช่อกระจุกที่ซอกใบ จำนวน 5-12 ดอก กว้าง 1.5 ซม. มีกลิ่นหอม กลีบเลี้ยงและกลีบดอกหนาสีเหลือง และมีลายสีน้ำตาลแดงพาด กลีบปากส่วนโคน คล้ายเป็นถุงสั้น มีขนด้านใน กลีบปากส่วนปลาย สีขาวมีแต้มสีม่วงแดง

Characteristics :

Epiphyte¬ monopodial; stem stout, 1.5 – 2 cm wide, 0.4 -1 m long. Leaves linear, 4 – 5 cm wide, 30 – 40 cm long. Inflorescence axillary, short racemose, dense flowered, 5 – 12 flowered. Flowers fragrant, 1.5 cm across, yellow with reddish-brown marking; sepals yellow with reddish-brown marking, oblong, thick; petals yellow with reddish-brown marking, narrowly obovate, thick; think, hairy at adaxial side, epichile white with reddish-purple marking, hypochile somewhat shortened-sac.

พบตามป่าดิบและป่าดิบแล้งทางภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก เฉียงเหนือ ภาคตะวันตก และภาคใต้ ออกดอกช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน-กุมภาพันธ์

Distribution :

Evergreen forest and dry evergreen forest in Northern, Northeastern, Western, and Southern. Flowering November – February.
