ลักษณะ :

ไม้พุ่ม หรือไม้ยืนต้นขนาดเล็ก สูงได้ถึง ๕ ม. ลำต้นและกิ่งก้าน มีหนามแหลมปกคลุม ใบประกอบแบบขนนกสองชั้น ใบอ่อนมีกลิ่นฉุน เฉพาะตัว ดอกออกเป็นช่อที่ปลายยอด มีดอกย่อยสีเหลืองอ่อนๆ จำนวนมาก ผลเป็นฝักแบน ออกดอกช่วงเดือนเมษายน – กรกฎาคม ขยายพันธุ์โดยการปักชำต้นและกิ่ง

Characteristics :

Acacia pennata ssp. insuavis is a shrub or small tree, up to 5 m tall. The stem and branches are armed with stout prickles. Leaves bipinnately compound and young leaves have a very strong smell. Inflorescences in terminal panicles, and yellowish flowers are in globose heads. The pods are thin, flat and long. Flowering in May – July. This plant can be propagated by stem and branch cutting.
