พืชล้มลุกอายุหลายปี ลำต้นเทียมสูง ๒.๕ – ๓.๕ ม. ใบเดี่ยว เรียงเวียนที่ปลายยอด ปลีออกที่ปลายยอด มีใบประดับสีแดงม่วง เครือกล้วยและผลมีสีแดงนํ้าตาล แต่ละเครือมี ๒ – ๓ หวี และแต่ละหวี มี ๖ – ๗ ผล ผลสุกมีเนื้อในสีเหลือง รสหวานอมเปรี้ยวเล็กน้อย มีกลิ่นหอม และไม่มีเมล็ด ออกดอกและติดผลตลอดปี ขยายพันธุ์โดย การแยกหน่อ

Characteristics :

Musa (AAA) ‘Nak’ is a perennial herb with rhizome. Pseudostems are 2.5 – 3.5 m tall. Leaves are simple, spirally arranged at top. Inflorescences in terminal, with reddishpurple bracts. A infructescence is dark red-brown with 2 – 3 clusters, each has 6 – 7 fruits. The ripe fruits are yellowish inner, sweetly with a little sour and fragrant, and have not seed. Flowering and fruiting are round year. This plant can be propagated by rhizome division with young stem.
