ลักษณะ :

กล้วยไม้ดิน ลำลูกกล้วยรูปกรวยแกมรูปไข่ ตั้งตรงสูง 4 - 7 ซม. ใบ จำนวน 1 ใบ ออกปลายลำลูกกล้วย แผ่นใบรูปรีแกมขอบขนาน กว้าง 6 - 7 ซม. ยาว 10 - 20 ซม. ปลายใบเรียวแหลม ช่อดอก ออกที่โคนลำลูกกล้วย ช่อแบบกระจะ ตั้งตรง ยาว 30 - 60 ซม. จำนวน 8 - 20 ดอก ดอก บานเต็มที่กว้าง 1.5 - 2 ซม. สีน้ำตาลแกมเหลือง กลีบเลี้ยงกลางรูปใบหอกแกมรูปแถบ หรือรูปเคียว กลีบปากสีเหลือง แยกเป็น 3 พู กลางกลีบมีสัน 2 สัน

Characteristics :

Terrestrial, pseudobulbs conical-ovoid, erect, 47- cm tall. Leaves 1, terminal of pseudobulb, oblong-elliptic, 6 - 7 cm wide; 10 - 20 cm long, apex acuminate. Inflorescence arising from the base of pseudobulb, racemose, erect, 30 - 60 cm long, 8-to 20-flowered. Flowers 1.5 - 2 cm across, yellowish- brown; dorsal sepal linear-lanceolate; lateral sepals falcate; petals linear-lanceolate or falcate; lip yellow, 3-lobed, 2 keels on the middle.

Distribution :

Dry evergreen forest in Northern Thailand; 900 - 1,300 m alt. Flowering in March. Distribution: India, Srilanga, Indochina and Indonesia.
