Plant reaches a height of 2 m and has heart shaped and serrated leaves. The male flowers, arranged in clusters, are small and white, and two female flowers are located at the base of each inflorescences. The fruit capsules (3-5 cm in diameter with four to seven points) are green, and ripen to a blackish-brown. The seeds are oval, dark brown, and 1.5-2 cm in diamter. |
