Terrestrial fern with erect to ascending rhizome and wiry prop roots. Stipe dark brown, stipe and rachis not grooved, midrib and major veins beneath dark brown. Fronds not dimorphic, to 100 cm long, stipe 54 cm long with 1-3 pairs of lateral pinnae, young fronds can be simple or trilobed. Basal pinnae either entire or with a basiscopic lobe. Bulbil present at base of terminal pinnae or junction of next lower down pinnae pair. Lamina mid green and shiny above, slightly paler beneath, venation green and shiny above, slightly paler beneath, venation green to brown above. |
