Habitat: shady and moist area along stream in degraded deciduous hardwood forest with bamboo, granite bedrock. Evergreen herb, up to 8m cm tall, some individuals with partly creeping stems. Roots pale orange. Leaf sheaths pale green with dark brown hairs to dark brown (old), stem pale green. Peduncle light green. Sepals and petals white with faint reddish tinge, overy light pinkish red, style and stigma white, filaments pale red-white, anthers bright yellow. Leaf blades with strong wavy margin at bottom part, green above some leaf blades with dark maroon red broad stripe along mid vein at lower base, rough to touch, greyish green with numerous glandular dots below.
