Lithophytic right at water's edge. Rhizome erect. Fronds dimorphic, stipe brown and grooved in both sterile and fertile fronds; rachises not grooved in steriles fronds brown above in lower half, otherwise green, brown beneath, in fertile fronds rachises green throughout. Sterile fronds to 61 cm long, stipes to 33 cm long. Fertile fronds to 74 cm long, stipes to 52 cm long. Sterile lamina mid green above, slightly paler beneath; fertile lamina pale green. Gemmae present on 3, 4 and 5th pinnae pair. |
