Tree, 5 m high. dbh 5 cm. Bark mid grey-brown to reddish-brown, <1mm thick, smooth; inner bract orange-cream to pink, no latex. Leaf mid-green, slightly shiny above. Flower pedicel and outer tepals pale green; inner tepals white in some individuals, pale pink or mauve in others; filaments white; anthers pale brown; pistils very pale green. The colour of flowers seems to be consistent within one plant, with white flowers tending to be rather larger than pink/mauve ones. |
