Prostrate herb, trailing on ground and twining weakly over grasses and legumes at roadside; sap milky white; flowers closing after sunset (ca 6:15 PM), pale yellow. No fruits seen. Flowering stems with clusters of buds covered in large black ants. Common along the stretch of road, with extensive patches of flowers visible at edge of pavement for some kilometers. |
