Tree, 11 m high. dbh 17 cm. Crown: monopodial with horizontal branching. Bark: dark brown, roughened with raised warty tubercles; middle bark indistinct; inner bark yellow-brown, fibrous, no latex or sap. Flower: on woody tubercles all along main trunk to level of lowest branches, in some cases also flowering along main branches; pedicel dark purple; petals cream, inner whorl with pink-orange tinge; anthers pale orange. |
