Lithophytic fern on damp rock with water seepage. Rhizome short erect. Stipes glaucous, this easily rubbed off and then green beneath, black at very base; cross section with 2 black bean-shaped vascular bundles, becoming U-shaped higher up; rachis green. Costae black or brown at base, rest green. Fronds very soft, arching to 137 cm long, stipes to 48 cm long, longest pinnae second from base to 28 cm long. Pinnae pale green above and beneath, not shiny, basal pinnae reflexed. Indusia minute with few long setose hairs. |
