Terrestrial fern. Rhizome large, erect with fleshy green arial roots. Stipe and rachis dark green; scales on stipe and rachis stiff. Fronds to 103 cm long, lamina 62-33 cm, widest at 2nd or 3rd pairs of pinnae; with 4-7 pairs of free pinnae plus large terminal pinnae; basal pinnae slightly reflexed or not. Lamina dark green above, much paler beneath. Sori brown. |
