Shrub up to 1 m high; branchlets with stellate hair. Leaves upper surface with stellate hair, lowers surface with dense stellate hair; petiole with stellate hair. Flowers yellow; pedicel with stellate hair; epicalyx absent. Sepals green, stellate hair outside. Petals membranous, yellow. Staminal column yellow, filament yellow, with stellate hair; anther yellow. Ovary yellow, glabrous. Style branchs 5, yellow, glabrous; stigma capitates, yellow. Fruits schizocarps with persistent calyx; mericarps with vertically grooved, apex 2-awned, green with stellate hair and turning brown when mature. |
